After three albums (I, II and III), French synth-punk band THE SCANERS are back with album “0”. A collection of 17 long lost rarities like B-sides from sold-out 7” singles, hidden tracks from obscure compilations, alternative versions of their biggest hits, unreleased demos, a cover song of “Sparta FC” (originally by THE FALL) and two new exclusive tracks. The album is a secret cartography, etched in rotation. This is represented in the album’s artwork, which reinterprets Morse Code in circular form. Each layer represents a unit of signals and will match the corresponding track with their original release output. This album will be released on vinyl through Wap Shoo Wap Records and Dangerhouse Skylab. THE SCANERS are a high-energy, intergalactically-themed synth-punk band hailing from Lyon, France. Known for their chaotic, gonzo punk style laced with sci-fi synths and new wave elements, they have built a cult following across European underground scenes.
