Across eleven tracks, the album reconnects with the band's Sognametal roots while expanding their sound, sparked by early standouts like "From These Woods" and the deeply personal title track written by Jarle Kvåle as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Cinematic elements surface on "Kraken, " composed for an upcoming film project, while "Loving the Dead" pushes new territory with a guest appearance by Agnete Kjølsrud of Djerv.
