🔄 Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return guidelines carefully before reaching out.

Final Sale Items The following are not eligible for returns or refunds:

  • All media (vinyl, CDs, cassettes, books, etc.)
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards

Eligible Returns Non-media items may be returned in the same condition as received within 10 days of receiving your order for store credit (gift card). To qualify, items must be:

  • In the same sealed condition as received
  • Unworn or unused, with original tags and packaging
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

A 10% restocking fee applies to bulk returns (more than one copy of the same item).

Initiating a Return To start a return, contact us at cs@drownedworldrecords.com. If your return is approved, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please use a trackable shipping service like USPS and keep your receipt. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted, and we cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-traceable method.


🛠️ Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 10 business days if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item. To be eligible for a refund or replacement, the item must be returned in the condition it was received within that same 10 business day window. If the item is not returned in time, your refund or replacement request will be voided.

Vinyl Imperfections Vinyl isn't perfect, and perfect covers are rare. Minor imperfections like corner dings, seam splits, or slight warping are common and not considered defects. We will always ship the best available copy of a sealed item. A few additional things to keep in mind:

  • Plastic wrap may tear during shipment. This does not affect the condition of the album itself and is not eligible for a return or refund.
  • Vinyl record colors may vary from mock-up images due to manufacturing processes. These variations are not eligible for returns — mock-ups are for illustrative purposes only.

Sound Issues If you're experiencing sound issues with a record, please send us a video of the record being played and note the timestamp(s) where issues occur. Please use equipment capable of quality audio playback. We are unable to assess audio issues recorded on suitcase-style or low-fidelity players, as these are not designed for quality audio output. We appreciate your understanding.

CD & Cassette Cases Generic jewel cases may arrive with minor cracks. These are not considered defects and will not be replaced.

Cassette Tapes Due to the delicate nature of cassette tapes and the many variables that can affect playback, all cassette sales are final. All tapes leave us new and in the best possible condition, but we cannot be responsible for issues arising from tape players or handling — especially older decks with worn components. If a cassette arrives physically damaged from shipping, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
