Philadelphia natives and former Sire recording artists Riverside are known for their dreamy, often melancholy rock-shimmering, emotional songs built on jangling guitars and introspective depth. Their debut One was a critical and underground favorite, blending British-influenced tones reminiscent of Echo & the Bunnymen and The Smiths with a distinctly American warmth. Produced by Steve Lau of The Ocean Blue, the album earned praise for standout tracks like "Cinnamon Eyes" and "Waterfall," both staples of college radio and early-'90s MTV.

Following a sold-out Kickstarter-exclusive first pressing and a string of reunion shows with The Ocean Blue, Riverside's cult-classic debut returns in it's first-ever retail vinyl edition. Newly remastered by James Aparicio (Mute Records), One is now available on limited-edition eco random color vinyl, while supplies last.
