This show was recorded live on January 29 1996 and was the third of three nights at Garton's in Vail Colorado. It also marked the midpoint of Widespread Panic's legendary Sit n' Ski Tour a 20-date trek across the Rockies where both fans and band skied during the day and jammed at night. Vail 1996 is a rowdy and playful show giving the listener a glimpse into the intimate laid-back and (mostly) acoustic vibe of the tour. The show was mixed and mastered by John Keane from the original multi-track tapes and will be released on @nugsnet and all major streaming platforms on Friday May 1 2026.
