Registered on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Georgian polyphonic singing is one of the masterpieces of Georgian culture: it accompanies wedding and funeral ceremonies, healing rites, liturgy, work, children's lullabies, dances and banquets. The Marani Ensemble presents traditional songs from all regions of Georgia and Orthodox liturgical chants.
