Prairie Prince is a drummer and artist. Musical endeavors include founding and still performing with The Tubes. He is currently performing with Todd Rundgren, All You Need is Love (a Beatles Tribute band) and The Gilmour Project. He has worked with Jefferson Starship, XTC, The New Cars, Nicky Hopkins, George Harrison, Chris Isaak, Brian Eno, David Byrne, Dick Dale, Tom Waits, Phil Lesh, and The Mermen. He helped found and was the original drummer for Journey.

Major art projects include murals, custom finishes on drums, guitars, motorcycles, and other vehicles. He also paints portraits, commissioned artworks, and restores paintings. Prairie Prince's Colours & Passions is a collaborative production featuring art and music reflecting his lifelong connections with fellow musicians, artists, and drums.
