This ambitious work is a new expression undertaken by Akihiro Nishiguchi, a talented figure in the Japanese jazz scene who is active in a variety of fields. He has assembled a new band for this work: a drum trio. Supported by first-class musicians David Bryant (piano) and Takumi Awatani (bass), Nishiguchi plays soprano saxophone throughout the entire piece. The way the three of them weave together a simple song that deliberately lacks rules is truly creative. Enjoy the crisp sound of the soprano saxophone as it soars through the spacious, open space.
