As on their first EP Mokili Na Poche on Seismographic Records, Atelier Kamikazi's collaborative lyrics are dedicated to their spectrum of life as street kids. They struggle with the exhausting and dangerous beauty of life in Kinshasa by encouraging themselves and promising never to give up. Neither in the face of lying politics, nor in the face of a religion whose representative they call ''Priest Cat's Heart,'' nor in the face of that great power to which they dedicate several songs, the drug called ''Bomb,'' made from car catalyst deposits mixed with a wild cocktail of ingredients. They warn against using this drug to see ''the nakedness of the turtle,'' because the only thing that could really be seen would be the ridiculousness of those consuming the drug.
