A stunning live recording featuring "JOE HISAISHI Future Orchestra Classics vol.7", a series in which composer Joe Hisaishi reinterprets classical works through a composer's lens to reveal new dimensions of their beauty.

Included in this release is a rare revival of "The End of the World", performed for the first time in nine years since its 2015 premiere. The piece was originally inspired by Hisaishi's visit to the site of the 9/11 attacks in New York-a deeply emotional experience that sparked its creation.

Also featured is the Japanese premiere of Steve Reich's "The Desert Music" in its full original 1984 orchestration-a minimalist masterpiece that had astonishingly never been performed in Japan until now.
Under Hisaishi's baton, this powerful interpretation was met with critical acclaim.
