To celebrate Counter Intuitive Records' 10 year anniversary, the label will release Cosmic Debris, Vol 2, a compilation album containing ten brand new songs by ten of the label's most defining artists. The songs on the album have been recorded specifically for this release and mastered by Grammy-winning producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight). The songs were written and recorded specifically for this release and mastered by Grammy-winning producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight). The first volume of Cosmic Debris was released in 2016 to celebrate the first year of the label's existence and compiled B-sides and outtakes from the label's original signings and associates. Fans of the label have been wondering about a second volume ever since. Vol 2 celebrates both the history of the label, featuring songs by mainstays and artists that defined the early years (Prince Daddy & the Hyena, Macseal), as well as highlighting the current crop of artists defining the label in 2025 (Combat, Riley!). We are rolling out the album one track at a time over the course of ten weeks to build excitement and allow each band to have their own moment to highlight their new song. With a few surprise inclusions, this will keep fans talking about the album each week, wondering which of their favorite bands will have a new song included.
