Zeidler: Litania in C to the Mother of God [CD]

AUKSO Chamber Orchestra – Zeidler: Litania in C to the Mother of God [CD]

A recording from the Musica Sacromontana Festival, exploring the musical heritage of Poland's Holy Mountain sanctuary. Józef Zeidler's Litany in C major to the Mother of God shows the elegance, expressive depth and radiant beauty of Polish Classicism, while Franz Anton Hoffmeister's Sinfonia in C major adds symphonic brilliance and Classical charm.

Both works were preserved in the historic archives of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri. The release is also a tribute to the memory of bass-baritone Jaroslaw Brek. Performed by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra; CD on DUX.

Genre: Choral, Classical, Orchestral.
