Antonello Losacco - Worlds Beyond [CD]

Worlds Beyond features Italian bassist Antonello Losacco on seven-string bass guitar in a trio with Vitantonio Gasparro (vibraphone) and Vito Tenzone (drums). Saxophonist Roberto Ottaviano guests on soprano sax on three tracks and Badrya Razem sings on one.

Eight of the nine pieces are Losacco originals; the other is Jaco Pastorius's 'Havona'. The album is contemporary jazz built around the sound of electric bass and vibes.
