LNR (Larry Thompson and Rick Lenoir) were early house pioneers, but few of their cuts had the impact of their debut "Work It To The Bone." The darkly alluring anthem mixed tribal percussion with a minimal groove that went deep and became a dance floor classic. Now it gets covered by New York house heavyweight and Grammy-winning producer Louie Vega under his Funki Cadets alias, joined by Chicago mainstay Mike Dunn and contemporary house producer Wade Teo.

The Louie Vega Mix dials into the original's tribal energy with a chunky, bouncing groove and hard-hitting percussion, layering in synths, effects and drama while the pressure stays high. Alongside a DJ Tool Acapella and the Louie Vega Beats, Wade Teo remixes the track with a deeper groove and dusty drums, more heads-down but packed with the same raw edge.
