Originally released in 2014, The Ocean at the End marked The Tea Party’s first studio album in a decade and their first following the Canadian rock trio’s reunion. The album finds Jeff Martin, Stuart Chatwood and Jeff Burrows returning to their signature blend of progressive rock, hard rock, blues and Middle Eastern-influenced textures, while pushing into expansive, atmospheric territory. Highlights include “The Black Sea,” “Water’s on Fire,” “Black Roses,” “Brazil” and the sweeping title track, which features guest flute from Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson. The album reached the Top 20 in both Canada and Australia upon its original release.

This 2025 edition presents The Ocean at the End across two 180g purple vinyl LPs in a gatefold sleeve, offering a striking new pressing of one of The Tea Party’s most ambitious later-period albums.
