The release serves as a historical document of what would have been Budgie's eleventh studio album. Following their 1982 album Deliver Us from Evil, the band spent 1983 to 1984 working on a third album for RCA Records. Due to shifting music trends and the band ultimately parting ways with the label, that album was scrapped and never finished.
