Alessandro Campobasso - The Imaginary Roads [CD]

The Imaginary Roads is the second album by Italian drummer and composer Alessandro Campobasso, released by Gleam Records in 2022. The band features Luigi Di Nunzio on alto saxophone, Pasquale Calo on tenor saxophone, Eugenio Macchia on piano and Giulio Scianatico on bass.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio Sorriso in Bari, the album takes inspiration from Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities and combines Campobasso originals with Arthur Schwartz's You and the Night and the Music.
