Survival In Motion is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Acorn, originally released independently on September 13, 2024. Blending pop-punk, alternative rock, and pop influences steeped in early '90s and 2000s nostalgia, the album marked a breakthrough for the Nashville-based artist following her acclaimed 2023 EP Certified Depressant. The album's title was inspired by a phrase Acorn found in a book at a Nashville bookstore: "You are a walking representation of survival in motion," a line that captured her journey through anxiety, depression, and a near pivot away from music altogether. Written entirely alongside best friend and co-writer Emma Lynn White, the record moves from the anthemic title track and breakout single "Greener" to the driving "High Horse" and punk-leaning "Homebody," closing on the poignant "Birds Still Sing." Alternative Press called it "a testament to inner strength." Pressed on Black & Red Galaxy 180g vinyl.
