Slo-Mo Neon Luminate Hoverings [Vinyl]

Ambrose Akinmusire & Mary Halvorson - Slo-Mo Neon Luminate Hoverings [Vinyl]

Slo-Mo Neon Luminate Hoverings pairs trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire with guitarist Mary Halvorson. The album features four compositions by each musician and one collaboration. Following rehearsals and a January 2025 performance at New York’s The Stone, the duo recorded the music at Sear Sound. The arrangements leave room for intimate exchanges, distinctive instrumental textures and spontaneous interplay.
