Rufus Wainwright & Amsterdam Sinfonietta – Rufus Wainwright and Amsterdam Sinfonietta (Live) [CD]

Rufus Wainwright and Amsterdam Sinfonietta’s live CD pairs his voice with bespoke string arrangements, including “Who by Fire” and “All I Want.”

Recorded during the ensemble’s 2017 Netherlands tour, the program ranges from Wainwright’s own songs to Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and classical repertoire. Candida Thompson leads the strings; Ryan Freeland mixed the recordings and Ruairi O’Flaherty mastered them.
