Rough Line [CD]

Angelo Mastronardi - Rough Line [CD]

Rough Line finds pianist Angelo Mastronardi (piano, Fender Rhodes, minimoog) in a trio with Rogers Anning (double bass) and Carmelo Miceli (drums). It was recorded in March 2019 at GleAM Studio and mixed and mastered in May 2019 at MD Lab Studio, Lecce.

Six Mastronardi originals sit alongside 'All the Things You Are' and Sonny Rollins's 'Oleo', in a post-bop trio setting with odd meters, swing and neo-soul touches.
