What began as a family project has become the father's private obsession, and everyone else is expected to play their part. Deadpan funny, unsettling and utterly singular, Room Temperature uses the rituals of a backyard haunt to look at control, longing and the fantasies we project onto the people closest to us.

The latest collaboration between novelist Dennis Cooper (The George Miles Cycle) and visual artist Zac Farley (Permanent Green Light, Like Cattle Towards Glow), it was an official selection of Frameline, the Los Angeles Festival of Movies and the Chicago Underground Film Festival, and made John Waters' list of the ten best films of 2025. In his words: "weird, creepy, and maybe... just maybe, great."
