The Alan Parsons Project - Pyramid (2024 Remaster, Expanded Edition) [CD]
Pyramid is the third studio album by The Alan Parsons Project, first released in 1978. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, it is a concept album centred on the pyramids of Giza and the fascination with 'pyramid power' at the time.
Lead vocals are shared by John Miles, Colin Blunstone, Lenny Zakatek, David Paton, Jack Harris and Dean Ford, with guitarist Ian Bairnson, drummer Stuart Elliott and arrangements by Andrew Powell. The album sold over two million copies worldwide.
This expanded CD features a 2024 remaster by Miles Showell at Abbey Road, four previously unreleased bonus tracks, and a 12-page illustrated booklet with a sleevenote quoting Alan Parsons and full lyrics.
