Pucho's Descarga [LP]

Pucho & His Latin Soul Brothers – Pucho's Descarga [LP]

Pucho & His Latin Soul Brothers were key players in the 1960s boogaloo and Latin soul scene, and Pucho's Descarga catches them at their most explosive. Hard-charging percussion, soulful grooves and Afro-Cuban rhythm meet in a loose, swinging session that bridges Latin jazz, soul and boogaloo, with 'Sidewinder' and 'Soul Sauce' alongside the title jam.

Released on 12-inch black vinyl by Tuff City, the New York label known for preserving deep funk, soul and Latin recordings.

Genre: Latin Jazz, Latin Soul, Boogaloo.
