Private Lives [LP]

Death From Above 1979 - Private Lives [LP]

Iconoclastic. Everlasting. Born from the womb of Y2K techno paranoia, Death From Above 1979 have been a cathartic through-line since 2001. Touted by Stereogum as "one of the most explosive rock duos of the 21st century," the band has survived CDs, MP3s, pirating, streaming and AI slop completely undeterred.

Their seminal debut You're a Woman, I'm a Machine (2004) became a dance-punk cornerstone; The Physical World (2014) marked a triumphant reunion; Outrage! Is Now (2017) expanded their sonic palette without sacrificing intensity; and Is 4 Lovers (2021) earned praise from NME as their best album since their debut. Now, celebrating their 25th anniversary, Death From Above 1979 blast off once again with their fifth LP, Private Lives.

Available on Gold Clear vinyl and an indie-retail exclusive Yellow & Black vinyl.
