No Depression [LP]

Uncle Tupelo - No Depression [LP]

Released in 1990, No Depression is the debut that launched Uncle Tupelo and gave a name to a whole movement. Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy and Mike Heidorn crashed punk-rock volume into country and folk songwriting on "Graveyard Shift", "Whiskey Bottle", "Screen Door" and their take on the Carter Family's "No Depression". The band later split into Son Volt and Wilco, but this is where it started.

Music On Vinyl presses it on 180-gram black vinyl. A Dutch import.
