Tom Verlaine - Live in NYC 1996-2006 [Sea Blue 2LP]

No guitarist sounds like the late, great Tom Verlaine. His effect-free tone, vibrato technique, free jazz-influenced sensibility and slow-burning solos were unmistakable, and his improvisational genius shone brightest live.

The first release from his own archives gathers completely unreleased performances from four New York shows between 1996 and 2006, spanning songs from his solo albums. Sea blue double LP in a gatefold jacket, for Record Store Day Black Friday 2026.
