Little George Sueref & The Blue Stars [2LP]

Little George Sueref & The Blue Stars - Little George Sueref & The Blue Stars [2LP]

British bluesman Little George Sueref draws on the down-home sounds of Jimmy Reed, Snooky Pryor, J.B. Hutto and Muddy Waters, plus the soul of Johnnie Taylor and Sam Cooke. He made his name as singer and harp player with Big Joe Louis & His Blues Kings before building his own following across Europe, Scandinavia and America. This album first appeared as a private CD in 2000, praised by John Peel, Charlie Gillett and Andy Kershaw.

Out of print for two decades, it now arrives on vinyl for the first time as a 15-track 2LP from Last Music Company, with guests Lazy Lester and soul singer Jimmy Thomas.
