Jenseitsritt [LP]

Midnight Prey - Jenseitsritt [LP]

Midnight Prey's 2017 debut became something of a modern classic thanks to its effortlessly cool mix of '70s hard rock, '80s traditional metal, classic punk and speed metal. Jenseitsritt, the German band's second album, keeps that clean-yet-dirty charge, landing equally between punk, rock and metal, and it's the small details in songs like 'Witch King', 'Kaspar Hauser' and the title track that keep pulling you back.

Pressed on black vinyl LP by Dying Victims Productions, the German label behind plenty of the best new traditional and speed metal.
