Iona [Blue 2LP]

Iona - Iona [Blue 2LP]

Iona's self-titled 1990 debut introduced the band's distinctive blend of Celtic folk, atmospheric progressive rock and spiritual themes drawn from the island of Iona and its monastic history. From "Turning Tide" and "Flight of the Wild Goose" to the extended "Iona" and "Trilogy", it set Joanne Hogg's voice against uilleann pipes, whistles, guitars and keyboards.

This limited UK import is pressed on two blue vinyl LPs, with the second disc adding versions taken from the original DAT master tapes and a widescreen remix of "Beijing".
