Luca Lo Bianco - Human Plots [CD]

Human Plots is the third album as leader by Sicilian bassist Luca Lo Bianco, who plays both electric and acoustic bass and has appeared on more than 40 recordings. His quartet features Achille Succi (alto saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet), Samuel Leipold (electric guitar) and Clemens Kuratle (drums); the album was recorded in Mantova.

Each of the original compositions takes its cue from a real-life story of everyday courage, and the set closes with Paul Simon's 'Silent Eyes'. The music is contemporary jazz with a chamber-like feel.
