Heartcore [LP]

Au/Ra - Heartcore [LP]

Au/Ra’s debut album heartcore transforms personal experience into a fantasy-driven alt-pop world, blending ethereal pop, electronica, 8-bit hyperpop and alt-rock across 16 tracks. Recorded between London and Los Angeles, the concept album uses the imagery of a shifting dungeon as a metaphor for working through trauma, identity and healing, ultimately moving toward hope and self-reclamation.

The album features “KILLSWITCH,” “CRACK!,” “HIGH FANTASY” and “SWAMP,” alongside “Last Heart </3,” “Princess Mononoke,” “E-MOTION” and the title track. heartcore captures Au/Ra’s distinctive combination of immersive electronic production, alternative pop and video-game-inspired world building.
