Heal Me Good [Orange & Brown LP]

Yufu - Heal Me Good [Orange & Brown LP]

Taiwanese musician Yufu has spent decades steeped in soul music, and Heal Me Good channels the sound of 1974-75 soul with touches of funk and disco: wah-wah guitar, flute, lush arrangements and a spirit that nods to Curtis Mayfield and Barry White. Sung in Mandarin, it plays with drugs and medicine as metaphors for love and life on songs like 'Honey If You're Extra', 'When?' and the title track.

A limited pressing on orange and brown colored vinyl, single LP, housed in a gatefold jacket.
