Girlfriend (Expanded Edition) [150g 2LP]

Matthew Sweet – Girlfriend (Expanded Edition) [150g 2LP]

Matthew Sweet’s 1991 power-pop album appears in an artist-approved expanded edition on 150g double vinyl, pressed at Gotta Groove with a Stoughton gatefold jacket. Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound mastered the fifteen album tracks from the original analog tapes. Three additional demos—Good Friend, Superdeformed and Teenage Female—come from digital files of Sweet’s DAT recordings. The eighteen-track program restores the three album songs omitted from the original twelve-track LP and adds the three demos.
