Explorer [12" Vinyl]

Sven Tasnadi - Explorer [12" Vinyl]

After almost twenty years of releasing music, Sven Tasnadi finds himself circling back to some of the sounds that first drew him into house music. Explorer was written at home following a longer break from producing and after moving out of his studio, a change of setting that coincided with a shift in priorities. Warm, compact and gently propulsive, it is a record that is ultimately less about changing direction than reconnecting with an instinct that has always been there. Explorer captures Tasnadi at a point where making music has become more personal again. The four tracks come from following ideas for their own sake and from rediscovering the deeper, more minimal sounds that have stayed with him throughout his career.
