Zombina and the Skeletones - Death Valley High [Translucent Red Vinyl + Bonus CD]

Death Valley High is the second album from Liverpool horror-punk band Zombina and the Skeletones, first self-released in 2006 and now on vinyl for the first time.

It's a campy concept record about a sci-fi high-school massacre, following horror-obsessed Janie Spencer, whose prom-night rejection leads to the apocalypse. It began as an idea for a film, and when the budget never came, the album became its surviving soundtrack. Its 13 short, punchy pop-punk songs were recorded on almost no budget, and fans consider it the band's cult classic.

This edition is pressed on translucent red vinyl with expanded artwork that reveals more of the story, a booklet insert, and a bonus CD, What Happened To Baby Janie?, a never-before-heard early draft of the album.
