Dead Meat [LP]

The Tubs - Dead Meat [LP]

Dead Meat is the debut album from The Tubs, the London-based Welsh band formed by former Joanna Gruesome members Owen Williams and George Nicholls. It first came out in 2023 on Trouble in Mind and is now reissued by Merge Records.

The record pairs jangly post-punk drive with melodies that recall British folk-rock, nine songs in about 26 minutes. It includes new recordings of earlier EP songs "I Don't Know How It Works", "Two Person Love" and "Illusion Pt. II", and it landed on several best-of-2023 lists.

This is the vinyl LP edition, on black vinyl.
