Flame 'N King & The Sons of Darkness - Brandyfoot [12"]

Brandyfoot collects seven recordings from Oscar 'Flame 'N' King' Richardson's restless trip through New York soul, funk and dance music between 1964 and 1980. It moves from raw R&B and hard-driving funk to disco-leaning grooves, with Richardson's distinctive voice out front alongside the Sons of Darkness, the Bold Ones and the Pazant Brothers.

A snapshot of two decades of New York's independent soul scene. Pressed as a 12-inch EP on black vinyl.
