Antumbra Ensemble [CD]

Henrik Olsson - Antumbra Ensemble [CD]

Henrik Olsson’s Antumbra Ensemble presents eight compositions built around shifting grooves, intricate structures and unexpected instrumental combinations. The guitarist and composer draws on the exploratory ensemble writing of Henry Threadgill and the Rock in Opposition tradition. Melodic lines and rhythmic changes keep the music in motion across this Cuneiform release.
