Ange et Folie [CD]

Guillaume Villeneuve – Ange et Folie [CD]

Baroque violinist Guillaume Villeneuve and harpsichordist Luc Beauséjour range across nearly a century of European music by Bach, Biber, Corelli, Rameau, Eccles and Mondonville. Born from a stage programme, the album swings between the introspection of Biber's Passacaglia 'The Guardian Angel' and the exuberant virtuosity of Corelli's La Folia.

Villeneuve is an Opus Discovery of the Year winner, while Beauséjour has nearly fifty albums to his name. Single CD on ATMA Classique.

Genre: Baroque, Classical.
