Ain't No Love in Fat Cat City [Mixed Color LP]

Ambassador Hazy - Ain't No Love in Fat Cat City [Mixed Color LP]

Ambassador Hazy is the solo recording project of Sterling DeWeese, and Ain't No Love in Fat Cat City is a burst of catchy hooks, psychedelic pop invention and carefully built songs. The Elephant 6 Collective is a useful reference point, but these bright, melodic tunes are full of odd corners, lyrical twists and sonic detours of their own. From the opening "Fat Cat City" through "Tremble and Shake" and "Good Luck to the Human Race," hooks circle back until repetition turns hypnotic, with sunny melodies, fuzzy edges and psychedelic shadows throughout.

Mixed color vinyl in a matte outer sleeve with black polylined inners; includes a download code.
