Walk, Don't Run [LP]

The Ventures - Walk, Don't Run [LP]

The Ventures' 1960 debut is where instrumental guitar rock took off. The title track, a crisp reworking of a Johnny Smith jazz tune, became a Top 10 hit in the US and inspired a generation of garage and surf bands to pick up a Fender. The album pairs it with twangy takes on "Sleep Walk", "Caravan", "Raunchy" and "Honky Tonk".

This limited Spanish import from Wax Time is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and adds seven bonus tracks, including "Perfidia", "Apache", "Pipeline" and "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky".
