Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you find that you need to return an item, please review our return policy below to determine if any special return conditions apply.

All media (ie: vinyl, cassette, CD, etc), sale items, and gift cards are considered final sale. New/Sealed non-media items may be returned within 10 days, meaning you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return for a refund via store credit/gift card. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same sealed condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need a receipt or proof of purchase. If you purchase in bulk and are returning more than one copy of the same item, there is an automatic 10% restocking fee.

We work hard to provide a clear description on what you will be getting but there may be times we receive bad info from the supplier. If you need more information before making a purchase on an item, please reach out to us before making your purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at cs@drownedworldrecords.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. For your protection, please send your return prepaid via a shipping service that can be tracked, such as USPS. Please be sure to keep your receipt. We cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-traceable method. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

You will be required to return the item in the condition that you received it within 10 business days of receipt of the item for a refund or exchange. If item isn't received back in set amount of time, you will void your refund or warranty.

Vinyl isn't perfect and perfect covers are rare. Your records will not always be perfectly flat. We will send you the best looking copy we have of a sealed item but it may have a small corner ding or a seam split.  While we don't consider a seam split to be damage, please reach out to us at cs@drownedworldrecords.com with pictures to help move this along.

If you have an issue with sound from your record, please send us video of the record being played, indicate what time the issues arise in the video, and please use equipment that focuses on audio. While suitcase record players are known for their aesthetics and convenience, they are not known for offering quality audio so we will not be able to accept video of audio issues when the record is being played on a product, such as a suitcase player, that does not offer quality audio in the first place. We appreciate you understanding this.
