Asheville indie-rock band Wagging's self-titled sophomore album is a kinetic nine-track set built from tangled guitar textures, a tightly arranged rhythm section and candy-coated melodies. Recorded at Drop of Sun with producer Alex Farrar, the record sharpens the band's guitar-pop sound while nodding to artists such as Rilo Kiley and The Breeders.
