Verdad y Error [LP]

Gibrana Cervantes - Verdad y Error [LP]

Mexican violinist and composer Gibrana Cervantes builds hypnotic, textural pieces from bowed strings, loops and space. Verdad y Error moves between English and Spanish titles across five pieces, from "Blur of Memories" to "Voces Que No Vuelven", drawing a line between memory, loss and the physical sound of the violin.

Pressed on vinyl by Awos, this LP is a strong pick for listeners drawn to experimental string music and slow-unfolding ambient work.
