Warren Burt - Three Movements From 'Some Kind Of Seasoning' [LP]

Three Movements From 'Some Kind Of Seasoning' presents excerpts from Warren Burt's expansive 1990–91 work for computer-controlled synthesizers. Drawing on influences ranging from Sun Ra and Elliott Carter to Charles Ives and ancient Greek modes, the music explores the space between human intention and machine process through deliberately synthetic tones and unexpected “mistakes.”
