Gently Tender – This Was Once Fields [LP]

This Was Once Fields is the new album from London band Gently Tender, a group featuring former Palma Violets members Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle alongside guitarist Adam Brown, with Francesca Brierley and Evie Hilyer-Ziegler joining for this record. Across ten songs, from "A Mound a Field" and "Don't Sleep" to "City of the Beast" and the closing title track, they blend layered harmonies and pastoral melodies with indie rock, folk and soul influences.
