Various Artists - The League of Automatic Music Composers, 1978-1983 [Cassette]
A pioneering collective of experimentalists in San Francisco's Bay Area during the late '70s and early '80s, The League of Automatic Music Composers are widely regarded as the first musicians to incorporate microcomputers into live musical performance, creating networks of interacting computers and other electronic circuits with an eye to eliciting surprising new "musical artificial intelligences."
This collection of recordings from 1978-1983 features John Bischoff, Jim Horton, Tim Perkis, David Behrman, Paul DeMarinis and Rich Gold. Available on 2LP and cassette.
