The Essex Green (Expanded Edition) [LP]

The Essex Green - The Essex Green (Expanded Edition) [LP]

Before Everything Is Green and their years on Merge, The Essex Green, a New England group drawn from Ladybug Transistor and Guppyboy, made their debut with a five-song 12-inch on Elephant 6 that sold out almost immediately. Its sunny neo-psychedelic pop, from 'Fabulous Day' to 'Chester', still sounds instantly familiar.

HHBTM's Archive Series edition expands the EP with three songs from a 1999 split 7-inch, three from the HHBTM Singles Club 7-inch, and two previously unreleased basement recordings, 'No Small Faces' and 'Howard Street Tonight'. It comes in a full-color jacket with an insert and a download card.
