Abel Ferrara's stark, brilliant vampire film makes its worldwide 4K UHD debut. Walking home from class through New York, philosophy student Kathleen Conklin (Lili Taylor) is pulled into an alley and bitten by a stranger (Annabella Sciorra). What follows looks like a sickness at first, until the aversion to daylight and the hunger for blood set in, and Kathleen starts to see sin, guilt and human nature through a very different lens.

Shot in gorgeous black and white on the streets of New York and reuniting Ferrara with his King of New York star Christopher Walken, The Addiction is the director at his most personal: raw, intelligent and genuinely unsettling, a vampire movie as philosophical crisis. The Chicago Reader praised its "astonishing poetry and conviction."
